Should the student dress code be abolished?

Ok, so tis topic is for the fun of it. I often hear peopel throwing this idea around whether it be jokingly or not. Should the student dress code be abolished and why?

I don't really care either way, however some of the rules are just stupid, even when viewed from a neutral standpoint.

The reason bandanas aren't allowed is because it shows "Gang relations."

Now, not every one who wears a bandana is in a gang, or showing an relations to a gang. So in away, parts of the code are kinda wierd.

yea i dont think theres all that many gangs in alden just different groups of sterotypes at best

We hardly have rules as to how we dress. The code in our school is how you should already be appropriately dressed in public.

no. I mean the way most people dress is how they dress when they go out.
